What is a Gold Party?

Quite simply, a gold party is the Tupperware party of the new millennium. It is an invitation event where you invite your friends, relatives and co-workers to your home. Partygoers bring their unwanted gold or broken jewelry to have it evaluated and turned into cash. Each piece is examined for karat purity then weighed. If the guest is happy with the appraisal, they are paid on the spot.

In addition, the hostess is paid a percentage of the evening's purchase. The more guests, the more gold, the more commission. It is a wonderful way to have a fun night out with friends and everyone leaves richer than they when arrived!

What items do you buy?

Outdated jewelry, broken items, single earrings, or anything made out of gold (even dental gold). We also purchase coins.

How much will I get?

It all depends on the weight and purity. 14k is about 58% gold and 18k is 75% gold, so 18k will bring a more per gram. We will bring a testing kit to determine the karat. The coins are individually appraised.

What are your qualifications?

Our family has been in the gold business in the Los Angeles area since 1962. We own and operate a retail store in the heart of Woodland Hills and hold a secondhand dealer license #1942-4172. In addition, we are life members of the American Numismatic Society and authorized dealers of P.C.G.S. and N.G.C.

What if I want a second opinion?

No problem. There is never any pressure put on you or your guests.

I want to hold a fundraiser for my organization. Can you help with that?

Yes, we are available for school or church fundraisers and charity events. This is a great way for people to donate money and earn money at the same time. In these challenging economic times, people might not be able to give as much as they would like. With a gold party they can either donate all the gold to the event, or sell the gold and the event will earn a percentage. It's a win-win situation.

I'm ready to have a Gold Party, how do I proceed?

Call us and we will book a time that works best for you.
